I am Made Adi Paramartha Putra, a full-time lecturer and researcher at Primakara University in Bali, Indonesia, and a part-time software engineer. My work spans academic research, classroom teaching, and hands-on engineering in industry.
My primary research focus is Federated Learning and Edge AI for Industrial IoT, where I develop lightweight frameworks that train intelligent models across distributed, resource-constrained devices without centralizing sensitive data. This work has resulted in publications across Q1 journals including the IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Sensors Journal, and Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence.
As a lecturer, I am deeply committed to building the next generation of engineers in Indonesia. I design and deliver courses in algorithms, web systems, AI fundamentals, and research methodology, having reached over 1,000 students throughout my academic career. I also supervise undergraduate and graduate theses in AI and distributed systems.
On the engineering side, I take on select software projects that align with my research interests, bringing academic rigour to practical product development and advocating for technology that is practical, inclusive, and impactful.
